I’m stepping into the ring at the world famous Troxy London boxing venue.
Yes, you read that right.
On 14th June 2025, I’ll be strapping on gloves and walking out under the lights to box in front of a paying crowd, all in the name of purpose, challenge, and charity.
You might be wondering, “Why boxing?”
My answer: Why not?
Through Ultra White Collar Boxing, I’ve taken on 8 weeks of intense training, way outside my comfort zone. It’s tough, it’s raw, it’s real… and I’m excited to be involved.
All of this while preparing for my 4th marathon (yes, less than a week away!). If you’ve ever pushed yourself physically, you’ll know there’s a point where discipline, mindset, and growth collide. That’s where I am right now.

So… how do I prepare for something like this?
I’m following the framework laid out by TheCurio.Online – a mindset approach I apply in life and now boxing:
Performance – As Arthur Ashe put it:
“Start where you are. Use what you’ve got. Do what you can.”
Improvement – No shortcuts. Focus on the gaps, sharpen the skills. Small consistent changes lead to transformation.
Grit – To quote Mike Tyson:
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
Boxing is humbling. Life is humbling. Grit is what keeps you standing when the bell rings again.
(Comfort) – The hidden pillar. Rest, recovery, and smart preparation matter just as much as the grind. Whether it’s sleep, good food, or a properly fitted headguard, comfort is part of the work.
Compete – This is the moment of truth. But here’s the thing, I already know who my real opponent is. It’s the guy in the mirror and I’m showing up to beat him, every round.
