Let the dark clouds be a back drop for your silver lining

Let the dark clouds be a back drop for your silver lining

I didn’t particularly want to apply another repetition this morning.

There were multiple reasons not to. To give you an idea of what went through my mind, list your top 3 reasons not to do a morning workout and you’ll probably guess mine.

With a growing universal focus on the benefits for us all to Move More, I decided to go anyway.

There were grey clouds, rain, puddles and the risk of being splashed by passing cars. 💦🤷🏾‍♂️

However, at the very moment of hitting the pavement, the endorphins began to spark. 🎇

I thought about the great game I attended at the Emirates stadium last night. The energy within its walls, a far cry from the dark days following Arsene Wenger’s departure.

Then I considered the inevitable day light saving mechanism we are about to apply in just over a month when the clocks go back.

Within 36 minutes, the 3 mile run was done, I observed the blue skies, sun rays and the rain had stopped.

So as we approach Q4 here are some positive quotes  to help us all push through to the final furlong:

  • In the midst of dark clouds, find your ray of hope 🌫️
  • Let the dark clouds be a back drop for your silver lining 🪙
  • When the dark clouds surround you, find solace in the storm 🤞🏾

Have a great day all
