Today has been full on. Morning rain, city road traffic, an emergency cord pulled by a fellow passenger on a train in error during the morning commute🤦🏽.
A solid day of work in the office.
An evening mentoring training call.
Last but not least, my first week of boxing training is complete for the Ultra White Collar Boxing event on 14/06/2025.
I also had a blind date with my opponent 😎. We’ve met, we’ve spudded or fist bumped as some like to call it 🤜🏾💥🤛🏾 but neither of us know who will be in the ring with who. Match ups happen in later weeks and are based on weight, skill and age.
One of my takeaways is that training with a group pushes me further than I am capable of pushing alone.
The energy in the boxing gym is infectious, the coaches pull no punches (excuse the pun 🤦🏽) and respect is expected and mutual, just how it should be in real life. I love it and am glad that despite a busy schedule today, I showed up and gave it my all.
By the way, all of this is for good causes so if you are able to support or would like to attend the event, please use the links below:

Now to rest until the marathon on Sunday with my buddy, yes a full 26.2 miles, no shortcuts.
Good luck to everyone who is running a marathon this weekend.
Rest, recover and spend the rest of the week with the finish line in mind. 🏅👕💪🏾
